Customer Unit Awareness Campaign
As part of the Association’s contribution to the Government’s ‘Alcohol Responsibility Deal’ the BBPA has developed a Customer Unit Awareness Campaign for the on-trade. Anyone can now download and use poster artwork and other materials available free-of-charge here.
A number of member companies have also signed up to support the campaign as part of their own individual commitments to the Responsibility Deal.

A summary image (“lock up”) of the key unit awareness messages can also be found below. This can be used on existing member materials and point-of-sale, including menus, tent-cards, etc.
If you do not wish to use bespoke BBPA materials, then it is important that the messaging itself remains consistent with that agreed with Drinkaware to avoid potential confusion for consumers.
BBPA would be very grateful if BBPA members could let us know whether they are taking this campaign forward in their member estates, as this would assist with our monitoring for both the Alcohol Responsibility Deal and our commitment to the European Alcohol and Health Forum.
