Beer Barometer

The UK Quarterly Beer Barometer contains the most comprehensive set of data on beer trends in Britain. It was published for the first time in July 2008. The BBPA has a long-established and authoritative reputation for the publication of statistics on the UK’s brewing and pub sector. Up-to-date, quarterly figures for ‘brewery gate’ sales will generally be available within one month of quarter-end. Data is sourced directly with the Association’s brewing members, and accounts for 95 per cent of all beer, including all lagers, brewed in the UK. The tables are available in excel format below.
