BBPA announces 2016 Awards

The British Beer & Pub Association (BBPA) and Pub & Bar magazine have launched the BBPA Annual Dinner and Awards for 2016, continuing a partnership that began last year. Would-be entrants have until 26th August to submit their bids for victory in the revamped awards.

The BBPA’s Annual Dinner and Awards ceremony, a must-attend event for brewers and the on-trade, takes place on Wednesday 12th October, and once again returns to the Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington.


The BBPA Industry Awards will have a fresh look and feel for 2016, with four categories as follows:


The Off-trade Retailer Award 2016

This award seeks to reward a company which has shown exceptional support to the beer industry throughout its estate.


Beer Champion 2016

The BBPA Beer Champion Award of 2016 looks to recognise companies that have successfully sought to promote, improve and celebrate beer.


Pub Champion 2016 in association with Nestlé Professional

The title of Pub Champion 2016 will recognise companies that have worked to secure pubs for future generations. This year the Pub Champion Award is supported by Nestlé Professional and their expertise in food and beverage solutions.


BBPA Heart of the Community Award

The winner of this award will have demonstrated a commitment to their local community.


The BBPA Industry Awards are free to enter, and will be awarded as a result of an application process followed by a decision from a panel of expert judges.
