Jubilee – Government consults on extra licensing hours

11/10/11

British Beer & Pub Association Chief Executive Brigid Simmonds Comments:

“This is good news, as we have been calling for extra hours which will keep Britain’s pubs right at the heart of this huge national celebration, just as they were for the Royal Wedding.

“We will be hoping to persuade the Government to extend this further, and certainly to the Olympic and Paralympic opening and closing ceremonies.”
